Champagne here we come!
We picked up the guest by bus per region. As it was early, a breakfast was served with fresh coffee. Our skilled wine master gave the necessary background information in a very nice way, followed by a tasty quiz. For lunch we chose a 4-course menu accompanied by the best champagnes (and an explanation of food paring) and after lunch, we had another degustation. After that, we made a ride through “Montagne de Reims” to arrive at a more traditional wine grower and to taste. Then, we got a demonstration of the art of sabrage by guests of our group. We finished our day with a little walk in the picturesque Hautvillers.
